I guess first of all I have to gloat. Tonight I got to see The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe in a special pre-screening. It’s good to know people who work at a movie theater. ^^ Man, it was pretty damn cool. A few discrepancies from the book, but on the whole they did really, really well.

However, this was only after the party we had here this evening. We managed to have thirteen people over here for food, drinks and good times. It was good to see Jen again, and to meet a bunch of people that I’d been hearing about from Anastasia for a while now. The day was mostly spent preparing for the party, tidying up, cleaning, cooking and so on. We didn’t have everything totally ready by the time people started arriving at 7pm, but we got it sorted. The party was a lot of fun, everyone had a good time, and then afterwards a bunch of us headed off to the movies.

First up though I got to take a sidetrip to see Jen’s apartment that she’s living in at the moment while she studies at USF. Very cool apartment with a very nice building as well. It has a pool, gated parking and some very cool people in the building that Jen introduced me to. Actually that was quite amusing… we went to another apartment of some people she knew and they had anime posters and wall-scrolls all over the walls. I could name all the anime from all of the posters… Full Metal Alchemist, Fruits Basket, Samurai Champloo, Trigun… ah, I’m such a geek.
