Today was very restful, which was very novel. I slept, hung around the house and watched a fair bit of the SciFi channel, which we need to get in New Zealand.

We had visits from Elicia, Anastasia’s mother, and from Priscilla, Anastasia’s grandmother. They came to pick up a few things and chat and so on. Anastasia went and picked up a few things, then baked a couple of apple pies (those pies are so nice), some really nice wee ginger pinwheel things and just generally blobbed out with me. We’re enjoying just being able to curl up with each other and spend some time having ‘us’.
