He can talk on the day without lectures

Unsurprisingly I slept badly and for not very long… I woke up, tried to function, crashed for another hour or so, got up and had a shower and felt a lot more refreshed, despite the lack of good sleep

I did my email, sorted out some money stuff for UW which I believe is for food… man I’m poor right now. I do a blog entry, talk to Anastasia then go make some food. While making some food I (shock, horror, probe) have an extended conversation with Andrew, the less social of my flatmates. He’s a Visual Communications major, writes articles and takes pictures for The Daily here on campus. He’s been to Japan for about a year and we had a bit of a chat about anime and manga while we snacked in the kitchen. Apparently there is an anime club on campus (which was meeting at the time of the discussion…. figures) for me to check out, which is good to know. Well, looks like I’ve found at least an ‘in’ – some common ground for us to talk about, so I’m thinking it won’t be too bad now.

Anyway, I go clear my mail and find I have a package, so I go pick that up and it’s my tv-computer adapter that I got. I need a cable for it however, so I head off up the road to Radio Shack and grab it. I come back, plug everything in and now I have television on my computer! No having to buy a television for me. I think this is somewhat dangerous, but also very, very cool. The quality isn’t great (although that depends on the channel) and it seems to have some weird quirks, but overall its pretty cool.

I watch the Sci-fi channel for my favourite shows, then surf (channels) around a bit. I end up leaving it on Sci-fi and blogging while I watch Hackers, which wasn’t too bad. Phwaw, Angelina Jolie as a geek… so very hot. ^^

Anyway, I head to bed but can’t sleep (again), so I read some manga for a bit before I can finally get some shut-eye.
