Well, I slept ok-ish, but not for long… I wish this would just stop.

Greg came and picked me up from my apartment, we went back to his place then bussed downtown. We checked out the market (big building full of stalls and little boutique-y type shops). We went to a French bakery and had coffee and I had a raspberry jam-filled pastry. We went to clothing stores (Greg was looking for a bunch of tops and stuff for his sister, he had her on the phone and everything), went to book stores (I had to physically restrain myself many, many times)… apparently downtown is composed almost entirely from clothes shops and coffee shops, with a few food places thrown in for good measure.

While out I get a call from Anastasia informing me of some of the legal issues that I was looking up the other day, and that she would be forwarding me the related material. Thanks, hun!

We bussed back to Greg’s place, then he dropped me back at my apartment and I did some blog catching up. I talked to Anastasia, talked to my family, had pizza for dinner… pizza here is really, really expensive. But then, food here is. Even so, I don’t think I’ll be having pizza again any time soon.

I’m very sorry to my family, who tried to call me again later tonight. I was generally feeling very yucky and I didn’t really want to talk to anyone. Everything just seemed to remind me exactly how far away I was from everyone and everything that I knew and was comfortable with. Tough night for being on my own is all. It doesn’t really matter what people tried to say to cheer me up… really all they did was remind about what I didn’t have in my life over here, which was really hard. It took a long time to get to sleep.
