Got some sleep, woke up still tired but better than yesterday. Went to Graphics, which was all about particle systems and the next assignment, then had the assessment for the Ray Tracer project, then had the help session for the Animator project, which is the next one.

Looks like Rob is going to be doing the Animator project with Jon, which almost by default leaves me with Mario. Given the various difficulties that I had in trying to work with him, and not actually getting anywhere collaboratively, I don’t want to do that. I emailed the tutor (and Rob) about this, hopefully something will change.

After that I sat in my office and did a bit of work and email. I went and saw my databases lecturer and apologised for my absences in her class due to my insomnia and generally feeling like crap. She sympathised with the getting used to a new environment and told me not to worry about it. Luckily for me the lectures I had missed were background information ones for people who hadn’t really done anything with databases before. I’d read the readings for them as well, so I knew what was going on and it wasn’t too much of a deal. She told me to get better if I needed to first, then figure out about class.

Anyway, I went back to my apartment and had some food, did a little bit more email then just chilled out watching some anime, hoping to make it an early night. I got to sleep around 3am, which of late has been an early night for me.
