Hours of lying awake again. Feeling better than yesterday again, so looks like things are getting back on track emotionally, if not in the sleep department. Today I took the day off… I was feeling good, and I didn’t want to ruin it with any excessive work. This may not have been the best idea with my Graphics homework looming (among other things), but I needed to have a boost. I did do some surfing around for work reasons, but it wasn’t anything intensive, just calculating server hosting plans. I bussed into town and got the next Bleach manga.

Yes, I know I could download them all for free onto my computer. That would defeat the purpose though. I know I like it, so I’ll buy it. Same deal with movies and so on, actually. While I do watch movies off of the hub here at UW, the ones that I really like, I’ll buy the DVDs of. Well, when I have the money for it, anyway. ^^;

Ok, something I find hilarious about US pronunciation: they say buoyant like they’re supposed to, but they say ‘buoy’ something like ‘booey’. How messed up is that?

On a side note, the people at Borders are bastards. They keep giving me discounts, being friendly and helpful… generally doing all of the things that encourage me to buy books and manga. I mean, I get at least 25% discount off of them (assuming I buy one thing at a time and restrain myself, that is). At least. I think my threshold is about 50% – at that point you know I’m going to buy something unless I’m totally destitute, and even then I’d probably scrounge spare change together and buy something. These guys keep giving me at least 25% discount, which is substantial enough for me to go “Hm, what’s something small I can get…” and before you know it I spent $5 getting some manga that probably could’ve waited until I really had the money for it. They’re good, those Borders people… they’re a little too good.

Like I said. Bastards.

Well, my gradual shift back to normal sleep patterns plan went out the window… couldn’t get to sleep until about 8-something am.
