Agressively trying to correct my sleep, I only got about 3 or so hours of sleep before I forced myself out of bed and stumbled around. I spent the day working on my Graphics homework… this was very, very frustrating as I was missing something really basic (or so it seems) from the first part, which meant I couldn’t answer any of it at all. This was frustrating because I understand the light model, the normal calculations, the modulation of the elements in the calculation as well as the addition of functions to bump map surfaces… but I could demonstrate none of it. At the least I answered the second two parts pretty well (I think), so hopefully I won’t bomb (again). In hindsight, I should have asked for help from the TA or the proffessor a lot earlier on in the piece… the thing I was missing just seemed so simple that I thought I would be able to work it out. Damn it.

I also managed to talk to Mum and Dace over Skype which was good, especially as I needed to talk to Dace about a whole bunch of business things. Things there are progressing, but not quickly.

Had a little bit of trouble getting to sleep again (even though I hadn’t got much), but I think I got to sleep around 3.30 or so, which was a good improvement. It’s kind of worrying, that.
