A familiar voice
I got a decent night’s sleep. Not enough to catch up, but certainly decent, which was great.
I had my Digital Culture class again, which was interesting. I didn’t really get any comments about what I posted from that class last time, so I’m not going to bother this time. I might later. Anyway, the speaker was sick, so we got an early finish.
I went to the FIUTS Wednesday lunch today, still feels weird and awkward… I don’t really know how to just start talking to anyone and everyone. I’ll get the hang of it at some point, I’m sure. Until then, I’ll be the one munching on his Oreo in the corner. I did see one of the other New Zealanders though, the one who I went out with a little right at the start of this whole thing. It was good to have a little catch up with her, she seems to be doing well. I also thought a little about going on the FIUTS San Juan Islands trip, as it’s very cost effective and would be good fun. I suspect that my homework won’t let me, though.
Anyway, I had Computer Vision, the AI seminar, then went bowling with some CSE people. I’m going to participate in their social league so I can meet a few more of them, socialize, that kind of thing. My team mate’s name is Anna, she’s good fun and has a good sense of humour. I like her and I’m looking forward to bowling with her. ^^
Anyway, after that it was back to work on my Vision assignment. While I was working on that I got a call from Aunty Katherine! Wehey! Her and the rest of her family were over here for a little while. Not in Seattle, but in the US. It was really good to hear from her. ^^ After talking to her for a while, it was back to my assignment.
Eventually I went back to my apartment sometime after 11… I picked up some Subway for dinner.
