I woke up around 8am, after a decent night’s sleep. I then dozed in and out for a couple of hours, before getting up and pottering about. I had a nice, long, hot shower; I worked out my buses that I needed to take to get out to Greg’s church, etc. I then got to the bus stop only to find I had used the wrong day’s time schedule online and would be waiting for a while. I gave Greg a ring and let him know the situation and he came and grabbed me. Actually he missed me first and I had to run down the street after him, but we eventually connected then went for a drive. We drove out to Greg’s mother’s place, chatting along the way about various things. I had a pretty good time eating and chatting with Greg’s family who had all shown up for Easter. Very friendly bunch, certainly the usual family idiosyncrasies and overall it was a great way to spend my Easter, since I’m so far away from my own family. My own family did send me Happy Easter greetings, which was nice.

Back at the ranch I did a little reading, then started doing organizational crap – emails, accounts (boy did my head spin for a little there, things were not adding up like they were supposed to!), all that jazz. I had a bit of a chat with Dad about some business stuff as well. I then did some work and went to bed. I read my new book for a little while before I went to sleep… and realized that I already bought a copy of this before I left New Zealand. This means that it was released in New Zealand before it was released here, which is what threw me off… ah well, looks like I have a US edition now as well. I’m sure I can find a home for it somewhere.
