The next all-nighter
Dead to the world for 4 hours, trying to wake up for half an hour, then off to class. Digital Culture was good, again I’m not going to post my discussion notes this time. Maybe next time, depends on whether or not I get any responses about it… eh, who am I kidding, for the three people that read this, no one gives a damn about my class discussions. ^^;; I might post some other ones later. Maybe.
Computer Vision wasn’t so interesting, but wasn’t uninteresting either. I spent the rest of the afternoon and early evening working on my Photography assignment, had some great help from Christian. We went to Subway for dinner, I demolished 2 feet again, much to the amazement of Christian. I also managed to mix up what was happening with the bill, but we got it sorted in the end. Picked up a AAA battery for the remote for the digital camera I’m working with – you’d think they’d keep the equipment working for when people check it out, but no…back to the office, back to work.
Finally worked out how to take the right kinds of images; ironically didn’t even end up using the remote because it couldn’t change the shutter speed. Figures.
2am. After a short bout of procrastination and part of my stash of Subway cookies, I once again delve into my 3D photography assignment. Why exactly I push myself to master everything as perfectly as possible given human limits, when reasonable limits would surely suffice and make me a healthier (and saner) individual, I’m not sure. I’d like to think it’s part of my charm, but that may be delirium talking.
I caught some snatches of sleep in my chair in the office, then continued to work on my report through the small hours of the morning. My sit-in class for the day was cancelled (which was kind of lucky, I wasn’t going to go anyway) and my measure of work is looking depressingly small.
