I am presently in Japan on scholarship at the University of Tokyo as a Masters student at the Igarashi User Interface Lab. I have an academic profile page for my research while I'm studying here. I was also accepted on partial scholarship to the University of Florida into their Masters program as well, however I have declined in order to take up my opportunity in Japan. Most of the other schools I applied to in the US for gradute programmes I either did not hear back from or was rejected.

I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Canterbury, where I majored in Computer Science, graduating with a Bachelor of Science, first class honours. I spent my final (Honours) year at the University of Washington on formal exchange as a Visiting Graduate in the department of Computer Science & Engineering.

All in all I'm pretty happy with my results from my Honours year in 2006. While it was nightmarishly stressful at times (move out of home, shift countries, start going to grad school), it was an extremely valuable experience and I think I got a much better grasp of how well I can handle graduate study.

There aren't a lot of things that I've done to do with Uni that I can post here, or are worth posting. I did have a music library prototype up here as well, but it was rubbish and I could write a much better one now by myself so I took it down. If I do anything which is vaguely interesting for Uni, I'll post it here!

Some applets for my Graphics class (2009-2010).
